Our studio revolves around the award winning Digidesign ProTools HD Accel TDM system, the industry standard for digital recording and editing worldwide. We also have a Digi 002 system which gives us the capability to record on location, using a laptop computer. Both systems use a wide variety of plug ins and tools to make your recordings sound great. We also realize that regardless of the equipment, a good recording depends on a good performance. The atmosphere at Big Creek is always relaxed yet professional. After recording for many years, we know that it's hard to be creative while feeling pressured. Our combination of experience, equipment, and beautiful surroundings make for a wonderful place to create. All of the music samples you hear at our web site were recorded by us.

Bruce Lang is an accomplished musician on upright and electric bass, electric and acoustic guitar, mandolin and vocals. His contributions, if needed, are always included in your rate. He is also well connected with some of the best talent in the Asheville area, if your project requires an instrument we don't provide.
